I like the part of software where two systems have to agree: moving records between tools, checking that the numbers match, and giving a person a clear place to step in when they do not.

I studied Computer Science at the University of Manitoba. At ZOLL Medical I was a QA Shift Lead / Incoming Inspector, programming vision inspection routines and training new inspectors. At athenahealth I was a Product Delivery Associate, building Power BI reporting on Salesforce case data, investigating data issues with Snowflake SQL, and bringing the findings to product and engineering teams.

I earned the Google Advanced Data Analytics Professional Certificate in Aug 2026, and I hold the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.

My recent work is in open source. In Nocturne, I contributed merged C# changes to time-query echo parsing, API capability reporting and test infrastructure. My VetLog filtering fix keeps pets with existing medical logs out of reminders, with a regression test. I also have Firely .NET SDK and fo-dicom pull requests under review; those are proposals, not shipped changes.

Not every contribution is a code change: for OpenAI Codex, I reproduced terminal behavior and shared findings upstream. I still build to learn, including RiverRoot, a small CI server in Go. Earlier tools, apps and data work remain in the project archive, with learning notes on Island.

What I am looking for

Junior roles in software engineering, integration or forward-deployed engineering, and data analysis, where the work sits close to how people actually use a system. The resume has the details, and LinkedIn has the rest.
